This site is published by the team behind Avalon Magic Plants, a Dutch smartshop that sells Pajaritos truffles and the Pajaritos grow kit. The product links on this site go to that shop, and when you buy through such a link, the shop earns from the sale. We say this first because it matters for how you read everything else.
We made a site about one truffle because Pajaritos deserve more than a few lines of product text. We wanted one place that explains the name, the strength, a first session, storage, the grow kit and the law, with sources. That includes safety: who should not take truffles at all, which combinations are risky, and why a pack stays in the Netherlands.
How the information is put together
- Facts about the species, the name and the chemistry come from published research, a university thesis and reference works. They are linked where we use them.
- The law is checked against the legal texts themselves: the Dutch Opium Act, the Supreme Court ruling of 10 April 2026, and the statutes of the United Kingdom, Germany and the United States. Each legal page shows the date it was checked.
- Health and safety information comes from Dutch public sources, the Trimbos Institute and the Jellinek, and from peer-reviewed studies.
- Strength, duration and storage advice that comes from the shop is marked as the shop's description. No lab has published figures for Pajaritos as a strain, and we say so.
- The account of a first evening is a composite, labelled as such. We publish no invented reviews or testimonials.
- We make no medical or health claims of any kind.
Every page shows when it was last updated. Laws and product ranges change; if something here is out of date or wrong, Avalon's customer service can pass it on to us.
The shop behind the site
Avalon Magic Plants has sold magic truffles since 2009. The shop ships from the Netherlands and sells only to adults. Truffles are sold for use during a stay in the Netherlands, where they are legal.
